This program is designed for students with undergraduate majors in management information systems, computer information systems, information technology, business administration, or a related field, and having knowledge and significant experience in computer applications. Students who cannot demonstrate competence in programming in a high-level language such as C, C++, or Java must take MMIS 501 Introduction to Java Programming. This course is in addition to the required 36 credit hours at the 600 level. MMIS 501 must be completed prior to taking courses at the 600 level; however, some exceptions may be permitted by the program director.
