Make A Request for Document Delivery
An Example: Requesting A Journal Article

• Suppose we want a copy of the following paper:

 Gray, J. & Graefe, G. (1997). The Five-Minute Rule Ten Years Later, and Other Computer Storage Rules of Thumb. SIGMOD Record, 26(4), 63–68.

• It’s possible you might be able to find this using a Database or Full-Text Journal Title Search, but for now, let’s assume you can’t, and let’s see what the request for document delivery looks like

• Visit www.nova.edu/library/serv/docdel/distance.html

• Click on Request Materials

• Click on Enter the ILLiad System Here

 • Log in using your last name and your NSU ID Number

• Click Request an Article

• Enter the required information

• Publication Title: SIGMOD Record
• Volume:  26
• Issue Number:  4
• Year:  1997
• Inclusive Pages: 63-68
• Article Title: The Five-Minute Rule Ten Years Later, and Other Computer Storage Rules of Thumb
