Complete List of Courses

If you need help please contact your advisor.

Master’s degree students are expected to be present at each meeting of their classes on campus. Exceptions to this rule may be made in the case of illness and possibly in other instances when approved by the course professor. Students should advise their course professors in advance of any anticipated absences. Additional work may be required by a course professor for any absence. Excessive absences will result in a failing grade. For online master’s courses, participation/attendance policies will be covered in the syllabus of each course.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy:

NOTE: Students now have the ability to withdraw themselves from courses using WebSTAR. If you experience any problems please contact your advisor.

Students that would like to be dropped from a course and added into a different course during the Drop/Add period, must email a request to their advisor. The advisor will process any changes to the student’s schedule and will confirm these changes with the student.

Students are expected to withdraw themselves from courses in WebSTAR. Students withdrawing from their last or only registered course within a given term or students experiencing other problems withdrawing themselves from courses in WebSTAR should contact their program advisor. If necessary, students may submit a withdrawal request in writing via postal mail or assigned NSU email account. Requests for withdrawals received after 11:59 PM EST on the withdrawal deadline date will not be accepted.

Failure to attend course(s) or participate in course activities will not automatically drop or withdraw a student from the course or the university. Students who have not withdrawn on or before the withdrawal deadline date will receive letter grades that reflect their performance in the course(s). The program office will confirm receipt of withdrawal requests that are received by the withdrawal deadline date. When a withdrawal request has been confirmed, the transcript will show a grade of W for the course. Depending on the date of withdrawal, the student may be eligible for a partial refund.

Students withdrawing between the first and the seventh calendar day of the term will receive a 90 percent refund of tuition paid. Students withdrawing between the eighth and the twenty-eighth calendar day of the term will receive a 25 percent refund of tuition paid. Students withdrawing after the twenty-eighth calendar day of the term will receive no refund.
