The table shows a rubric
that will be used for typical errors on written assignments for which one or two
points will be subtracted for each error from the total possible. Grading,
however, does include subjectivity (e.g., content, organization, readability,
and style). The table is representative, not exhaustive, of all possibilities.
Please note, evaluation criteria relating to format and assignment submission
via ESET, due dates, and assignment content are also covered in the syllabus.

Grading considerations for assignment four:
What constitutes as a knowledge-based contribution?
 | The topic must relate to course content. Sample topics are listed on the
syllabus. |
 | The topic can be one that you initiate or to which you respond. Each
contribution should consist of about two to three well-written paragraphs.
Your content must be supported by at least one reference. |
 | Merely agreeing or disagreeing with a posting is not adding to the knowledge
base of the discussion. Your comments must also shed new information about a
topic under discussion with support from a new reference. |
 | A reference may be a live link. Any posting, however, should include the
complete reference in APA format. |
 | Assignment four involves collaboration. A balance is required between topics
you initiate and those to which you respond. Entries on your submission should
clearly state the difference. Your 10 best postings must reflect that
collaborative effort. |
